Biology Olympiad Training Program 2009
Who is the training course for?
The Biology Olympiad training course is for students who intend to attempt the Biology Olympiad National Qualifying Examination (NQE) (scheduled in 2009 for 26 August). Past students have successfully competed in the NQE, been selected for the National Team sent to the Olympiad training course in Canberra and have been medal-winning Olympiad scholars.
The course is also an excellent preparation for students who wish to revise thoroughly for the NSW HSC.
Staff
The Biology Olympiad Training Course is coordinated and presented by Dr Elizabeth May (School of Biological Sciences, University of Sydney).
Content
Content is designed to cover all topics examined in the NQE and therefore will be wider in scope than the NSW HSC syllabus. Each two and a half hour session will include lecture-style presentations, use of multi-media and hands-on practical work.
