Does the Faculty of Science offer scholarships?

Scholarships offered by the Faculty of Science fall into two broad categories:

Scholarships you must apply for

For the majority of scholarships that must be applied for, a single application for a University of Sydney Undergraduate Scholarship is sufficient. This includes the Science Entry, the Science Alumni Entry, Olympiad and Science Alumni Achievement Scholarships.

The scholarships for which students need apply are the University of Sydney Undergraduate Scholarships (all degrees, previously known as the Alumni Scholarships) and the University of Sydney Distinguished Undergraduate Scholarships.

Information about scholarships and application deadlines is sent to school careers advisers in July and there is also an online list of scholarships and application deadlines.

Scholarships which are awarded automatically

Students do not need to apply for Faculty specific scholarships as they are automatically awarded usually on the basis of ATAR or excellent performance in an HSC subject (or equivalent).
