Research Disciplines
Message from the Dean
“This is a particularly fascinating time to study science. Major technological advances are opening up many new areas, from ecosystems to nano-technology, and the boundaries between traditional areas are blurring as inter-disciplinary research leads to rapid progress on a wide range of issues in environmental, health and technology related industries that underpin the future prosperity and quality of life in Australia.
In many areas of science, it is now essential that students undertake further study or research in order to ensure comprehensive coverage of a discipline. I invite you to discover more about the world-class research in the Faculty of Science at the University of Sydney.”
