Graduate Options Expo

Thursday 3 September, 2009
4:00pm - 7:00pm
The Quadrangle, University of Sydney
What is the Graduate Options Expo?
The Graduate Options (GO) Expo is designed to help you make the right choices for the next step in your education and career preparation. Mini lectures and specialist advisors will highlight all your options - options for Honours, Graduate Entry programs, Postgraduate Coursework, PhD and other research opportunities.
Staff from the Faculty of Science will be on hand to answer your questions about postgraduate options in a range of areas including Photonics, Psychology, Nutrition and Dietetics, Environmental Sciences, Resource Economics, Wildlife Health, Nuclear Science, Biotechnology and more (see full list below). An application assessment service will also be available.
Drinks and refreshments will be provided.
What will you find out at the Graduate Options Expo?
You will:
- Get one-on-one advice: Advice centres will be set up in the Great Hall so you can discuss your options with a Faculty of Science representative. Faculty staff will help you navigate your options and choose the best pathway for you.
- Attend information sessions: Don’t miss the general sessions, where you can discover your graduate options and find out how you can study now and pay later using the federal government’s FEE-HELP scheme. Then, attend Faculty of Science program-specific information sessions to find out about the postgraduate programs on offer.
- Have a bite to eat and network: After a long day you’ll be able to enjoy some light refreshments and take the opportunity to network. The great thing about university is that you never know who you might meet with an interesting story or a fantastic career. Don’t forget to bring your business cards to exchange with new contacts, and enter our competition for the chance to win a great prize.
